MARILYN MOFFAT JOINS MEDRISK’S EXPERT CLINICAL BENCHMARKS INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC ADVISORY BOARDKING OF PRUSSIA, PA. (March 16, 2007) – Expert Clinical Benchmarks (ECB)® has appointed Marilyn Moffat, PT, DPT, PhD, CSCS, FAPTA to its International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB). A former two-term president of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), Dr. Moffat is a professor of physical therapy at New York University. She serves as the North American Caribbean Region representative on the World Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT) Executive Committee and has been nominated as the organization’s president. She has also served as president of the New York Physical Therapy Association, as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Foundation for Physical Therapy, and on the Board of Directors of the World Rehabilitation Fund. The recipient of numerous awards for her contributions to the field, Dr. Moffat has also been listed in the Who’s Who in America. Dr. Moffat has given more than 800 presentations throughout her practice and has written more than 25 professional publications. She earned her baccalaureate degree from Queens College, her certificate in Physical Therapy and her MA and PhD degrees from New York University, and her DPT from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Sciences.
