MedRisk receives Technology Grant

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA. (Nov. 28, 2006) – The State of Pennsylvania has awarded a Workforce and Economic Development Network grant to MedRisk, Inc.

Based in King of Prussia, Pa., MedRisk provides specialty managed care services and claims workflow management tools to the workers’ compensation industry. The company is using the $6,300 grant to train 20 information technology employees on new JAVA technology that will be used to develop MedRisk products and services.

“At MedRisk, we are dedicated to developing innovative technology solutions for our client community,” said Jerry Poole, COO of MedRisk, Inc. “This grant will enhance our ongoing development efforts and help our employees reach new levels of professional growth.”

The grant is administered by the Bucks County Community College and offers training programs to give qualified in-state businesses and out-of-state companies relocating to Pennsylvania the opportunity to train new and existing employees.
