MedRisk’s Expert Clinical Benchmarks, LLC Presented in the Orthopedic Section of the APTA Combined Sections MeetingKING OF PRUSSIA, PA. (Feb 7, 2006) – Expert Clinical Benchmarks, LLC, the clinical research and academic arm of MedRisk, Inc., presented “Evidence-based Clinical Practices Guidelines: Low Back and Ankle Sprain Guidelines” at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Combined Sections Meeting in San Diego California (Feb. 1-5, 2006). Discussing evidence-based Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG), the presentation described how CPGs are developed, tested and used in clinical practice. Guidelines for low-back pain and ankle sprains were presented along with the outcomes of their implementation.
