HealthSouth Joins MedRisk’s Expert Provider OrganizationKING OF PRUSSIA, PA. (April 6, 2006) – HealthSouth has joined MedRisk’s Expert Provider Organization (EPO). The arrangement adds approximately 400 new out-patient physical and occupational clinics to MedRisk’s specialty managed care network of physical medicine providers. MedRisk’s EPO is an elite group of credentialed physical medicine practitioners with expertise in treating work-related musculoskeletal injuries. These clinics agree to a unique reimbursement model based on clinical research, patient diagnosis, and severity.
