MedRisk's Ruth Estrich elected to IASA BoardKING OF PRUSSIA, PA. (July 13, 2006) – Ruth E. Estrich has been elected to the board of directors of the Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA). Her one-year term begins July 1, 2006. Estrich, who is the vice president of marketing and development for MedRisk, Inc., brings more than 30 years experience in the insurance and technology fields to this position. She began her career as a systems consultant for Data Architects, Inc. in Waltham, Mass. and later held senior management positions at Liberty Mutual and CNA Insurance Companies. Estrich previously served on IASA’s executive management committee. She has also chaired several committees for the Health Insurance Association of America (HIAA) and represented the insurance industry on the Patient Record Committee at the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences in Washington, DC. She is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and has authored many articles for key industry publications including Business Insurance, The Journal of Workers Compensation and Insurance International.
