Claims Inquiry Professional
MedRisk’s Claim Inquiry Professionals are highly trained on complex payer workflows. Responsible for assisting network providers with their claims processing and payment status inquiries, our skilled professionals effectively communicate the varied billing processes to network providers and help evaluate and clarify processing time expectations.
Claims inquiry professionals follow through on billing or payment inquiries from notification to full resolution, using expert problem-solving skills to investigate details and facilitate accurate communications in a timely manner.
Those who succeed in this position are highly organized, have the ability to multi-task and work well both independently and as a team. They possess prior call center experience (medium to high volume) as well as experience in healthcare billing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must as is strong data entry skills. A solid working knowledge of Windows-based computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is also required. A college education is preferred.
