EDI Developer
MedRisk’s Enterprise Development team is responsible for providing technical solutions to meet business needs. MedRisk is seeking an EDI Developer to help the team deliver on key strategic technical initiatives.
This individual will be responsible for designing and coding new X12 EDI (5010) transactions as well as enhancing and supporting existing implementations.
A qualified candidate should possess the ability to work the full cycle of a software development project. We are seeking an individual with at least 5 years’ experience designing and implementing EDI standards, with a focus on Claim Processing (837), Provider Load Provider Data Management, Payment and Remittance (835), Health Care Information Status Notification (277), and Implementation Acknowledgements (999). Experience in database model design including creating tables, user-defined types, stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers is also required.
A successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and have the ability to work across multiple teams as part of the SDLC process. They will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Strong documentation skills are required in order to plan, create, track, and sustain software engineering work. Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies is a plus. A Bachelor or Computer Science or Engineering degree (or equivalent) is required.
