MedRisk Hosts an Ask the Experts Session During WCI

Expert answers to questions about FCEs, Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 3-5 p.m. at Booth 523

What is a functional capacity evaluation? When should you request one? Who performs them? What can an FCE tell you? How can it “unstick” a claim?

MedRisk, Inc., the leader in managed physical medicine services for workers’ compensation, will host an “Ask the Experts about FCEs” session at its booth at the Workers’ Compensation Institute’s Workers Compensation Educational Conference (WCI). Conference attendees are invited to stop by Booth 523 on Tuesday, August 23, from 3 to 5 p.m. to ask about the best timing and how to clearly communicate goals when requesting a FCE.

MedRisk’s Chief Operating Officer, Michelle Buckman and Javier Othon, PT, vice president of operations at CORA Health Services, Inc., a member of MedRisk’s expert provider network, will field questions on this important claims management tool.

“Ask the Experts about FCEs” is part of the MedRisk’s ongoing commitment to delivering quality managed care for injured workers and supporting busy adjusters, nurse case managers and providers so they can focus on the injured worker.

WCI will be held from August 21 through 24 at the Orlando World Center Marriott, and more information is available at https://www.wci360.com/conference.
