Richard A. Victor, PhD has joined the International Scientific Advisory Board of MedRisk, Inc., the leader in physical rehabilitation solutions for the workers’ compensation industry.

ISAB is responsible for identifying, performing and promulgating research on best-practice treatment in the areas of physical medicine and neuro-diagnostics, and for maintaining the MedRisk proprietary clinical guidelines.

Victor is the founder and former president and CEO of the Workers’ Compensation Research Institute. Under his leadership, WCRI became one of the most highly recognized and respected research organizations dedicated to evaluating and benchmarking the impact of major public policy issues confronting workers’ compensation systems, health policies and disability management.

Victor, who holds a PhD in economics as well as a law degree, has studied the risk and benefits industry for more than 30 years. He has contributed to more than 25 books and monographs on workers’ compensation and published numerous articles. Victor frequently presents at conferences and at legislative and regulatory meetings.
