Estrich will stress how physical medicine differs from other medical services and will highlight the key strategies to effectively return injured workers to pre-injury functionality. She will also discuss the growing importance of the role of physical therapists in reducing dependence on opioids and in identifying and resolving psychosocial barriers to recovery.
