
Shelley Boyce is the founder of MedRisk. Ms. Boyce pioneered the company’s original managed care concepts and programs in 1994. Her revolutionary approach to managing physical medicine services combined with her dedication to quality care formed the backbone of the company’s culture and the springboard for its future success.
Her innovations changed how the industry views traditional managed care and claims service offerings. She continues to play an active role in advising the board and by providing input and support to the organization’s leadership team.
Mike Ryan holds an active role in guiding the organization’s ongoing evolution and the strategic development of client and business partnerships. A dynamic and results-driven leader, Mr. Ryan brings extensive industry experience, business acumen and vision to the ongoing development of the organization.
Under his leadership as its former CEO, MedRisk has grown into the single largest managed care organization in the workers’ compensation industry dedicated to the physical rehabilitation of injured workers. The company now supports over 95% of the top workers’ compensation insurers and third-party administrators in managing their physical medicine services.


Danielle Lisenbey is responsible for MedRisk’s growth and performance, overseeing strategic business initiatives and providing organization-wide leadership. She leads the development and direction of the company’s vision, ensuring the organization will meet its long- and short-term goals for continued growth and expansion.
With nearly 30 years of experience in workers’ compensation managed care and disability management, she previously served as the Global President of the TPA division of one of the world’s largest, independent claims management companies.
Jamie Davis-Motsinger
Chief Sales and Marketing Officer
Jamie Davis-Motsinger manages all revenue-generation processes for MedRisk. This includes promoting integration among all revenue-related functions, including sales, pricing, and customer solutions. She has over 20 years’ experience in sales and account management in workers’ compensation and managed care, and previously served as MedRisk’s Executive Vice President of Sales Management. Prior positions included Manager, National Accounts and Director of Sales for Coventry Workers Compensation Services and Director of Risk Management Services at SBMC, a risk consulting and managed care organization.


John Jakovcic oversees the development and dissemination of MedRisk’s technology. He also manages the company’s enterprise development, cybersecurity, and client solutions teams. Mr. Jakovcic has worked in information technology for workers’ compensation, disability, and group health companies for more than 25 years.
Mary O’Donoghue oversees MedRisk’s clinical, administrative and operational functions. Her responsibilities encompass clinical management, product development, provider relations and network oversight along with patient advocacy and customer service. Ms. O’Donoghue also guides the efforts of MedRisk’s International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB), including the development and updates of evidence-based guidelines. A Registered Nurse by trade, she joined MedRisk in 2016 as Chief Clinical and Product Officer and led the development of MedRisk’s Telerehab program, its On-Site PT offering and PTConsult services. Previously, Ms. O’Donoghue held senior leadership positions in strategic planning, operations management, and product development with top carriers, third party administrators, and managed care organizations in the group health, disability and workers’ compensation industries.


Bonnie Sawdey, SHRM-SCP designs and implements human resource strategies to support MedRisk’s strategic goals. She oversees talent acquisition, training, development, and management along with employee relations and benefit and compensation design and administration. Ms. Sawdey, who holds a Senior Certified Professional certification from the Society of Human Resource Management, joined MedRisk with over 30 years of human resource experience with Crawford & Company, one of the world’s largest, independent claims management companies, and its TPA division, Broadspire.
Sri Sridharan leads the divisions that support our clients and pilot growth for the organization. With his strong background in risk analysis and claims, Mr. Sridharan works with his teams to enhance the experience of MedRisk’s clients. An executive in the workers’ compensation industry for nearly two decades, Sri has worked for Gallagher Bassett and served as Marsh’s Analytics Solutions Leader for North America.


Tom Weir is responsible for the financial strength of the company. A seasoned finance executive, Mr. Weir combines public accounting experience with proven leadership skills and outstanding communication and analytical abilities. His extensive expertise in technical accounting issues, SEC reporting and compliance requirements are critical to the continued financial growth and security of MedRisk.
