Shelley L. Boyce
Executive Chairman and Founder
Shelley Boyce is the founder and chief visionary of MedRisk. She holds an active role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction and product development initiatives. Ms. Boyce pioneered the company’s original managed care concepts and programs. Her extensive industry experience and innovative approach has influenced how the industry views traditional managed care and claims service offerings. Ms. Boyce holds a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia.
Chief Executive Officer
Mike Ryan is responsible for developing the organization’s enterprise-wide strategic vision, overseeing new business development initiatives and driving company performance. An accomplished, results-driven leader, Mr. Ryan brings over 20 years of industry experience and relationships to the organization. Under his leadership, MedRisk has grown into the largest managed care organization dedicated to the physical rehabilitation of injured workers. Mr. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey.
Kenneth Martino, CPCU leads enterprise-wide operations for the customer and patient experience, quality assurance, provider relations and billing and revenue optimization. Mr. Martino brings over 35 years of experience in workers’ compensation and managed care to the position. He is the former President and CEO of Broadspire Services, Inc. starting his career with top insurance carriers in management positions within systems, underwriting, claims and managed care. Kenneth holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Connecticut.
Chief Financial Officer
Tom Weir is responsible for the financial strength of the company. A seasoned finance executive, Mr. Weir combines public accounting experience with proven leadership skills and outstanding communication and analytical abilities. His extensive expertise in technical accounting issues, SEC reporting and compliance requirements are critical to the continued financial growth and security of MedRisk. Mr. Weir has a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Business Management from North Carolina State University.
Chief Operations Officer
Mary O’Donoghue oversees MedRisk’s clinical, administrative and operational functions. Her responsibilities encompass clinical management, product development, provider relations and network oversight along with patient advocacy and customer service. Ms. O’Donoghue also guides the efforts of MedRisk’s International Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB), including the development and updates of evidence-based guidelines. A Registered Nurse by trade, she joined MedRisk in 2016 as Chief Clinical and Product Officer and led the development of MedRisk’s Telerehab program, its On-Site PT offering and PTConsult services. Previously, Ms. O’Donoghue held senior leadership positions in strategic planning, operations management, and product development with top carriers, third party administrators, and managed care organizations in the group health, disability and workers’ compensation industries.
Chief Strategy Officer
Michelle Buckman leads efforts for developing, communicating and executing company-wide strategic initiatives. Working closely with the CEO she is responsible for translating strategies into actionable and quantitative plans that reflect organizational priorities. In her previous role as COO, Ms. Buckman led transformational changes across the operational organization, including the development of MedRisk’s patient and customer advocacy programs as well as the achievement of industry leading service levels. Ms. Buckman earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University.
Chief Innovation Officer
Victor Pytleski leads the company’s efforts in creating an innovation-friendly organization that supports best-practice initiatives. Mr. Pytleski is responsible for staying abreast of industry trends, market disruptions and new technologies; he is also in charge of helping to develop and integrate new capabilities and architectures. Mr. Pytleski prior role as CIO has been critical to MedRisk’s management and implementation of client-facing programs and technology-related initiatives. Mr. Pytleski earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota. He also has a Master’s Certificate in Project Management and a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Villanova University, Philadelphia and received Project Management Professional Certification from the Project Management Institute.
Chief Revenue Officer
Jamie Davis-Motsinger manages all revenue-generation processes for MedRisk. This includes promoting integration among all revenue-related functions, including sales, pricing, and customer solutions. She has over 20 years’ experience in sales and account management in workers’ compensation and managed care, and previously served as MedRisk’s Executive Vice President of Sales Management. Prior positions included Manager, National Accounts and Director of Sales for Coventry Workers Compensation Services and Director of Risk Management Services at SBMC, a risk consulting and managed care organization.
